Upcoming Conferences

The Missouri Behavioral Health Conference is an annual event in September and hosts over 600 attendees from all over the state.

The purpose of the conference is to motivate, network and learn from each other and experts about behavioral health, substance use prevention, and suicide prevention, amongst other topics.

The conference's audience includes executive leaders, physicians, psychiatrists, clinical supervisors, nurses, community support specialists, and healthcare home directors working in settings ranging from hospitals to primary care to private practice.

Supporting Critical Behavioral Health Events & Training

The Missouri Behavioral Health Council offers a wide variety of trainings throughout the year. Trainings include expert presenters on very important behavioral health topics, which include, but are not limited to behavioral health, substance use prevention, suicide prevention, CCBHC, etc.

  • MO CIT Conference The Missouri Crisis Intervention Team (MO CIT) Conference is an annual conference hosted in March. The conference hosts over 600 attendees, which include law enforcement officers, behavioral health professionals, courts, etc.
  • Missouri Children's Trauma Network Summit The summit focuses on training around youth and best practices for trauma informed practices. In partnership with MBHC and Missouri Kid’s First, the Missouri Children’s Trauma Network is excited to be able to provide this training opportunity among many other training opportunities.
  • Missouri Suicide Prevention Conference This is an annual conference in July to focus on suicide prevention around the state of Missouri. The conference host over 1,000 attendees and include, but are not limited to impacted friends and families, attempted survivors, survivors, community mental health professionals, school personnel, and so many more.
  • Substance Use Prevention Conference The Missouri Suicide Prevention Conference is an annual conference in July to focus on suicide prevention around the state of Missouri. The conference host over 1,000 attendees and include, but are not limited to impacted friends and families, attempted survivors, survivors, community mental health professionals, school personnel, and so many more.
