Collaboration & Communication
Lead to Better Outcomes
The success of our community outreach programs is due to teamwork, partnership, and collaboration among multiple agencies, hospitals, law enforcement, outreach workers, case managers and researchers.
Missouri Liaisons Forming better community partnerships with our Community Behavioral Health Liaisons, Youth Behavioral Health Liaisons and Housing Liaisons.
Behavioral Health Crisis Centers (BHCC) Creating a national model of efficient integration between law enforcement, the criminal justice system, and behavioral health services.
Emergency Room Enhancement (ERE) Relying on partnership from multiple agencies, ERE programs are designed to remove barriers and increase behavioral health access, while reducing emergency room visits.
Justice Involved Programs The goal of these programs is to stabilize offenders with behavioral health or substance abuse disorders to the point they can maintain employment and ultimately assume financial responsibility for their ongoing treatment needs.
Statewide Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) Collaboration Project A collaborative project to improve the availability, accessibility, and awareness of resources and services in our communities.
Health & Community Services
The Council’s health and community services team fosters a community integrated approach, supporting the outreach, engagement, and care coordination efforts of our member agencies. Our member agencies have been leading the way in providing access to quality services in their communities, and our team at MBHC reinforces those efforts by providing project management, technical assistance, and coordinating with other community and state stakeholders to sustain these significant programs and services.
